A colourful flag with a bit of black and a fern would connect us all together as New Zealanders. Then the flags waving in the crowds would be the same flag seen in the medal ceremonies. A true Flag of New Zealand that would increase our national pride and boost our world identity. Remember that most countries have changed from their British-based flag, and there are lots of countries that have some black in their colourful national flag. These are just a few of them.
