– Canada flags

It was only twenty years after World War 2 that Canada changed its flag, and their old flag held the same kind of meanings as ours. They went through all the same arguments as we are, but they got through it, and now they have a beautiful flag that represents their own country. It didn't mean the end of their old flag – all these years later they still use it, and its meaning still remains. They are still part of the Monarchy and the Commonwealth, and when they got their new flag, the Queen admired them as a country that had matured and gone ahead.

Their heritage is not forgotten, and nor would ours be.

As you see, the children of today know about their old flag as well as the new one.
